On Monday night, Nate Diaz called for the UFC to provide him a battle, however there is one challenger he isn’t prepared to face.

Diaz made it clear that he won’t action inside the Octagon onceagain with Conor McGregor after stating the previous UFC featherweight and light-weight champ “sucks.”

McGregor and Diaz battled twotimes previously, with Diaz taking the veryfirst bout at UFC 196 in 2016 by second-round submission. In the rematch at UFC 202 about 5 months lateron, McGregor won by bulk choice.

Following that loss to McGregor, Diaz didn’t battle for another 3 years priorto returning to beat Anthony Pettis at UFC 241 in2019 After a loss to Jorge Masvidal less than 3 months lateron, Diaz was missing onceagain for almost 2 years.

His most current battle came at UFC 263 in June 2021 when he fell to Leon Edwards by consentaneous choice.

As for McGregor, it can be argued that his loss to Diaz was the start of a decline in his profession.

Entering that battle, the Irishman was 19-2 in his profession, hadn’t lost a battle giventhat 2010 and hadn’t lost in the UFC ever.

Starting with the loss to Diaz, McGregor is 3-4 over his past 7 battles, consistingof losing 3 of his past 4, taking his profession mark to 22-6.

McGregor has lost back-to-back battles to Dustin Poirier, consistingof a technical knockout since of a physician interruption at UFC 264 in July after McGregor broke his leg.

While McGregor is working his method back and has stated his desire to battle some time in late summerseason, it doesn’t appearance like a trilogy battle with Diaz is in the offing.
