The past couple of years didn’t go exactly according to design when it came to releasing superhero movies, but then again, neither did the good guys’ plan at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. And you know what they did? They tried again! Now, in this not very great year of 2022, we once again have more superhero films on the docket than we know what to do with.

Thanks to the multiverse, dates have still been shifting and reappearing on our timeline constantly, but what’s been teased for the future feels well worth the wait. We’ll return to world of Wakanda for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in November. Meanwhile, DC will also expand its Shazam! universe by introducing a new villain in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam this October, and then following it up with the official Shazam! Fury of the Gods sequel in December.
