Prior to moving to Arizona, the moreyouthful Raiola played his veryfirst 2 seasons of high school football at Burleson High School in Texas under head coach Jon Kitna, a previous NFL quarterback who was his dad’s colleague with the Lions. Raiola tossed for 3,341 lawns and 32 goals while including 9 hurrying ratings as a sophomore.

“There’s not a toss he can’t make.” Kitna stated. “He comprehends protections and where the weak areas are in every protection. He understands security. He understands how to set the run videogame to the right area. He’s going to be a 4.6 kid at the end of it and be somebody that can hurt you running with his legs. Just an extraordinary deep-ball thrower. That’s one of the things that truly separates him.”
