Netflix Drops Trailer For Colin Kaepernick and Ava DuVernay’s ‘Colin in Black & White’

Netflix has actually launched the main trailer for Colin in Black & White the Ava DuVernay and Colin Kaepernick produced series based upon the professional athlete’s life story. ” Colin called me and shared that he wished to inform the story of his youth in some way. What interested me was the concept that, through his story, I might clarify a core belief that I hold: that we can all be the hero, the protagonist, of our own lives,” stated DuVernay on producing the series.

” It was essential to me that this wasn’t another autobiographical series about a celebrity as a kid. No disrespect to those programs, however it’s been done– and succeeded,” the well-known filmmaker included. “I had an interest in pressing a bit even more into this storytelling trope.
